It’s time to embrace your sexual energy, awaken your senses, and allow yourself to feel unconditional love.
Today we’re talking to Rebecca Clio Gould, author of The Multi-Orgasmic Diet. It’s a book about self love, letting go of guilt, and shedding shame – it’s more than just a diet and it’s not just about sex.
The Multi-Orgasmic Diet isn’t about orgasms as we traditionally think of it, but rather the ability to live turned on and experience multiple instances of unrestrained and intense excitement, joy, and pleasure moving through you. Basically, feeling the joy of sex with or without sex.
The multi-orgasmic “menu,” as opposed to food, is a series of over 80 practices. In addition, it includes many different exercises and modalities that help readers incorporate the practices outlined in the book.
Many of these practices and exercises are based on Qigong (chi-kung), an ancient form of healing movement and meditation used to improve health and increase longevity. It is the grandmother of Acupuncture and Tai Chi.
There are many different practices of Qigong, but Rebecca primarily teaches Sheng Zhen. It is the practice of cultivating unconditional love, and it has had a transformational effect on Rebecca’s life.
This relates to diet because so many of us crave unhealthy food when we are unhappy – when we aren’t giving ourselves love – but Rebecca emphasizes that the book is primarily about a “soul food diet in which women learn how to fill up on the pulse and pleasure of life in order to stop using food to fill an inner void.”
I really enjoy The Multi-Orgasmic Diet. It’s an incredibly vulnerable and positive book, and you don’t have to be a woman to benefit from practicing unconditional self-love. You can pick up your own copy on Amazon.
