Thyroid – Optimizing Green Juice
I'm a big proponent of green juice, especially when paired with an anti-inflammatory diet rich in whole, real, fresh organic foods rich in protein and phytonutrients, adaptogenic herbs, spices, and superfoods. I use my Vitamix, only because I want the Plant Fiber... for many reasons 1) Plant fibers actually block toxic pesticides and heavy metals in your digestive tract, capturing them so that your body eliminates them. 2) Most people need more fiber in their diet. The average American downs only 14 grams of fiber per day, which is just over half the daily need for women and one-third of what men require.

- 1/2 cup Fresh Pineapple
- 1 bushel Cilanto
- 1 bushel Fresh Parsley
- 1 Large Organic Cucumber
- 1 Stalk Fennel
- 2 Lemons
- 1-3 Pinches Ashwagandha Root, Powder I usually go with 3 because hey, is an adaptogen, meaning that it can help your body manage stress
- 6 Drops liquid chlorophyll extract Link Below
- Juice all ingredients except ashwagandha root and chlorophyll. Add a few pinches of these after and ENJOY!
